Iraq 'power transfer' two days early.

Same day as weekend returns showing the success of F911.

Surely there are more factors at work (to wit: Keeping 'rebels' off balance). I just think the timing is intriguing.

I didn't think I could possibly be more convinced that it was time for Dubya to go. The new ad here should be enough for anyone.

Remember how offended the Right was when someone contributed a Hitler ad to the MoveOn.org competition? The hypocrisy makes me ill.

Thanks, Dubya-campaign, for showing your true colors. You've created the best Kerry campaign ad we could've dreamed of.

I do seem to have become very slow at updating my livejournal, so I suppose it's time for some news. Nothing shocking, really, but some things nonetheless.

I finally got done jumping through all the hoops Arizona State requires of me. Once they (re)process my application, I'll be able to register for my two out-of-major courses. This, on top of the one library-school course I have left (and which I must take on campus next semester at the U of A, necessitating weekly commutes to Tucson), will make for a full time semester. My last. I'll have my master's by December.

Can I get a

WooHoo

!? I'll be glad to be done, but I'm not sure I'll know what to do with myself once I don't have school to worry about anymore. Mind you, my 'free' time this summer is plenty busy, so who knows what I'll do when I don't even have that anymore.

Mason went with me to sell music in San Diego this weekend, an event which was almost as big a bust as last year's excursion to Salt Lake City. This time, though, I can blame it on the fact that for the first time since we started vending at this festival, it rained almost all day Saturday. It was either that or the fact that, in deference to Mason's ears and delicate constitution, I left behind my lucky Yes CD (Talk, which it is my custom to play and sing along with at ear-splitting volume on the drive home to help keep myself awake).

Also had some dental work done today, namely three fillings. Though these are the first fillings I've ever really had in my life, they won't be the last. I have four more scheduled for July 10. Those shots hurt. Damn, they hurt. Plus, I'm a wimp.

On the music front, potentially exciting developments are brewing. Pete, the last third of the late, great, lamented, famed Hadrian's Wall, is planning a visit to Phoenix and potentially a cash infusion to a recording project, so we may be reuniting as a band and recording an album in the near to medium future. Not making the mistake of getting my hopes up, but I'd be lying if I said I were other than excited by the possibility.

I have a house to clean. Ciao!

"And best of all, it's free!"

If absolutely the best thing you can say about your product or service is that it doesn't cost anything, it must necessarily follow that your product or service is worthless.

Sean Hannity's Web site always has a poll up, but since they've started getting mentioned on Air America's Unfiltered in the morning, the results seem to end up slightly different from what Hannity seems to want.

At last check, today's poll (something along the lines of 'Should Ronald Reagan be commemorated on the $10 bill?) was running around 76% to 24% against.

I see now that it's been changed to "How do you think we should commemorate former President Reagan?".

How I laughed!

This photo accompanied the headline "Bush Likens War Against Terrorism to WWII" on my yahoo news just now. I guess I know which side we're on in this allegory.
